BISMARCK, N.D. – A longtime Moorhead resident is the new Chief Parole and Probation Officer for the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (NDDOCR).
Mark Hendrickson was named to the post Thursday by Director Colby Braun. He has worked for the department for the last 18 years – serving several roles ranging from Probation Officer to his most recent post, Fargo Region Lead Officer.
“I am honored to be selected as the Chief by Director Colby Braun and ready to get started in the role,” said Hendrickson. “I look forward to working with the great team members with the Parole, Probation, and Pretrial Services Division in holding clients accountable, helping transform their lives, influencing change, and assisting clients in becoming healthy, productive neighbors for a safer North Dakota.”
The current leader, Thomas Erhardt, retires June 1.
