ST. PAUL, MN — Despite a rough start with heat and severe storms causing significant disruptions, the Minnesota State Fair has seen a strong recovery in attendance.
On Monday, the fair experienced its lowest attendance since 1983. They had just over 80,000 visitors due to the extreme heat and evening storms. However, Tuesday’s attendance rebounded to over 124,000 visitors, despite a delayed opening caused by storm damage and flooding.
The fair continues through Labor Day.
