FARGO, ND — A 21-year-old Moorhead man has been arrested after a routine traffic stop Wednesday afternoon in Fargo.
At just before 2 p.m., police initiated a routine traffic stop in the 4500 block of 13th Avenue South.
Images during the time of the arrest show the suspect being placed in handcuffs at the rear of a U-Haul.
Cass County Sheriff deputies along with U.S. Marshals were also on scene to carry out the arrest.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Christian Torpeh Sluwar.
Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner told Flag Family News it was a “normal street crimes unit” operation.
Sluwar was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant for Possession of Marijuana Failure to Pay Fine and additionally cited for Driving Under Suspension.
Sluwar was transported to the Cass County Jail.
