(Inglewood, CA) -- Jimmy Kimmel now has a college football bowl game named after him.
The first bowl game to be played at L.A.'s new SoFi Stadium will officially be called the "Jimmy Kimmel L.A. Bowl." The late night host announced it during his show Wednesday night and the name may stick.
Kimmel and SoFi Stadium officials say they've reached an "unprecedented multi-year partnership."
The December 18th bowl game will pit the number one selection from the Mountain West Conference against the number five selection from the Pac 12 conference.
