(New York, NY) -- More than half of Americans want the extra unemployment benefits the government handed out during the pandemic to end.
The "New York Times" asked Momentive to do the survey that found 52-percent want the extra 300-dollar supplement to stop.
Republicans were much more inclined to end them than Democrats.
Many reopening businesses have reported difficulty hiring new employees and are blaming the extra unemployment cash for at least part of the reason why.
