(Montgomery, AL) -- Alabama is set to execute a mentally disabled man Thursday for killing a woman in 1991.
Willie Smith was convicted of kidnapping the 22-year-old, stealing 80-bucks and then shooting her in the head at a cemetery. His lawyers says he should have been given help in selecting how he was going to die. They tried to get the execution blocked but a federal judge refused.
A court is allowing his pastor to be in the chamber.
