CDC expected to sign off on child vaccine

(Washington, DC) --  The CDC is expected to sign off in just hours on the first COVID vaccine for younger children.

An advisory committee is meeting Tuesday to vote on Pfizer's shots for five to eleven-year-olds. The FDA granted emergency approval last week.

The White House confirms its vaccination program for some 28-million kids will be fully running by next Monday. This comes as 70-percent of adults are now fully protected.
