(Scotland) -- More than 100 world leaders are pledging to end and reverse deforestation by 2030.

The agreement was reached Tuesday at the U.N. climate summit in Scotland. It comes with a promise of more than 19-billion-dollars of public and private funds.

More than 30 major financial companies have also promised to stop investing in enterprises linked to deforestation. A previous forest deal in 2014 failed to accomplish much of anything.
