(Chicago, IL) -- Sears is closing down its auto service centers.
According to the Sears Auto Center website, the company is holding a going out of business sale. The items on sale are available at the 15 remaining Sears Auto Center locations which are featured on the SearsAuto-dot-Com home page. The move affects locations in several states including California, Colorado, Texas, Florida and New York.
This comes as Sears' current parent company TransformCo continues to wind down operations of the struggling brand. Sears sold its DieHard brand of batteries and automotive accessories to Advance Auto Parts in 2019.
