(Japan) -- The Nintendo Switch is surpassing 100-million units sold.
The popular gaming console has sold a little over 103-million devices since releasing in early 2017. That figure moves it past the Wii, placing it behind just the original Gameboy and Nintendo DS in terms of sales.
The news comes as the company deals with a shortage of semiconductors that power its devices, an issue that has impacted many other consumer electronics companies.
