Producer, Director Ivan Reitman dies

(Montecito, CA) -- Hollywood producer and director Ivan Reitman is dead.  

The New York Post reports Reitman's family confirmed on Sunday that he died peacefully in his sleep at his Montecito, California home. Reitman worked with some of Hollywood's rising comedic stars of the late 20th century including John Belushi, John Candy, Bill Murray, and Dan Aykroyd.  

He directed such hits as Meatballs, Ghostbusters, Stripes and more. Reitman was 75-years old.
