Home Depot sees sales spike, revenue beat expectations

(Atlanta, GA) -- Home Depot is seeing a spike in sales along with higher revenue.  

The Atlanta-based company says sales jumped by eleven-percent in its most recent quarter. It also posted revenue of more than 35-point-seven billion dollars.  

Net income was more than three-point-three billion. Same store-sales rose by more than eight-percent, which easily beat expectations.  

As for the year ahead, the company is projecting growth in sales.
