(Atlanta, GA) -- Delta Airlines expects revenue to bounce back this quarter, to levels it enjoyed before the pandemic kneecapped air travel.

In a filing Wednesday, Delta updated its estimates to show it sees revenue returning to 2019 levels, thanks to a surge in travel demand and higher fares.

This represents a big shift from Delta's previous estimate which forecast sales as much as seven-percent lower than where they were before the pandemic hit in the first quarter of 2020.
