(Washington, DC) -- The Biden administration reportedly is barring the leaders of Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela from the Summit of the Americas that begins today in Los Angeles.
According to Bloomberg News, the administration made the decision despite threats from Mexico's president that he'll skip the summit unless all Western Hemisphere countries are invited.
According to a source cited by Bloomberg, U.S. officials decided that concerns about human rights and lack of democracy in the three countries weighed too heavily against inviting them.
