(Mountain View, CA) -- Google will pay out 118-million dollars as part of a pay discrimination lawsuit settlement.
The lawsuit three former employees filed in 2017 claimed the tech giant paid women less than men for the same job. The settlement affects around 15-thousand-500 women who have worked for Google since September 2013.
As part of the settlement, Google will also allow third-arty experts to review its pay practices. The settlement still needs to be approved by a San Francisco Superior Court judge.
