(Budapest) -- A Team USA swimmer will rest today after a big scare at the FINA World Championships in Budapest on Wednesday.

Anita Alvarez fainted in the pool during the solo free event final. Her coach, Andrea Fuentes, jumped into the pool to rescue Alvarez after she sank to the bottom of the pool.

Fuentes said Alvarez will go through testing to try to determine the cause of her fainting and hopes she will be able to swim in Friday's team free event.
