(Atlanta, GA) -- Sprite is no longer going to be solid in its iconic green bottle.
Coca-Cola said it is changing the packaging from green to clear on August 1st in a continued effort to be more environmentally friendly. The current bottle features an additive that can't be recycled into new bottles.
A new logo and packaging design is also being brought to the bottles, with the green-hue still used for labels.
