IRS urges some to delay filing Income Taxes

(Washington, DC) -- The IRS is urging taxpayers in more than a dozen states to delay filing their tax returns.

The agency said taxpayers in states like California and Colorado received special payments or tax refunds last year.

The IRS is still working out procedures to account for those payments and should have more clarity next week.
