(San Diego, CA) -- The man who assassinated Senator Robert F. Kennedy is being denied parole.

Wednesday's hearing was the 16th attempt for Sirhan Sirhan, who shot RFK in 1968 at the Ambassador Hotel in L.A. during a speech.

He shot five others, but they all survived.

Sirhan is serving life in prison at Donovan in San Diego County. He'll be eligible for another parole hearing in three years.
