Report finds 90% of IT professionals have experienced a Cybersecurity Breach

(San Jose, CA) -- A new report finds that 90 percent of all IT professionals have experienced a data security breach.

According to the survey, entitled "The Data Dilemma: Cloud Adoption and Risk Report," the way data is stored on the cloud and in hybrid environments make it vulnerable to cyberattacks.

The report finds that, on average, organizations store 61 percent of their sensitive data in the cloud, and most have experienced at least one cybersecurity breach, threat, and/or theft of data, with three-quarters experiencing all three.

San Jose-based Skyhigh Security conducted the survey of IT pros and says the report underscores the need to address data security gaps.
