'Bruce Springsteen Day' declared in New Jersey

(West Long Branch, NJ) — ‘Bruce Springsteen Day’ has officially been declared as September 23rd in the state of New Jersey.

The occasion was announced in a proclamation by Governor Phil Murphy during the inaugural American Music Honors event.

The event was presented by the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music over the weekend.

Springsteen, a New Jersey native, and his wife Patti Scialfa did not attend the event and were out with COVID-19.

September 23rd is Springsteen’s birthday.
