(New York, NY) — The longest-running Broadway show in history is over.
The final show for the The Phantom of the Opera took place Sunday.
Mayor Eric Adams awarded a key to the city to Broadway legend Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber to celebrate the show’s historic run.
There’s been nearly 14-thousand Phantom of the Opera shows performed in the last 35 years.
