(Washington, DC) -- Lady Gaga is being appointed to a committee in the Biden administration.

The 37-year-old will be co-chair of the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities.

The committee, created in 1982, advises the President on cultural policy.

In the past, Gaga has performed at Biden's inauguration and traveled with the president to support  the "It's On Us" program that addressed campus sexual assault.
