(Denver, CO) -- A Colorado Rockies fan is facing charges of assault and disorderly conduct after tackling the team's mascot at a game last week.

Kenneth Sonley turned himself in on Friday and was cited and released by Denver police.

Police had been looking for Sonley since he allegedly stepped up onto the top of one of the dugouts and tackled the mascot a week ago.

A motive for Sonley's actions has not been announced.
