(Santa Monica, CA) -- Snapchat is getting serious about chat.
The company announced on Wednesday that its customizable chatbot, My AI, is now accessible to all users.
Until now, the feature powered by the viral AI chatbot ChatGPT, was available only to subscribers who pay for Snapchat-Plus.
Snap, the company that owns Snapchat, said the tool offers recommendations, answers questions, helps make plans, and can write a haiku in seconds.
Users can bring it into a conversation with friends by mentioning it with "@MyAI."
