(Austin, TX)  -- Texas has found a new destination for illegal immigrants who have been processed and released by the Border Patrol.

A bus dropped off asylum-seekers today in Denver.

The Mile High City now joins Washington D-C, New York City, Chicago and Philadelphia as drop off points.

In a statement, Governor Greg Abbott says that Texas' overrun border communities should not have to shoulder the burden of caring for this flood of illegal immigration.

Since the beginning the busing strategy last spring, more than 19-thousand migrants have been transported to self-declared sanctuary cities.
