(Nashville, TN) -- Jason Aldean says critics have gone too far attacking his new song "Try That in a Small Town."
Some critics claim it encourages lynchings and violence, while others are calling it the song of the century.
The song came under scrutiny after the music video aired on the Country Music Television network.
The video shows mixed footage of BLM protestors confronting police, burning the American flag and security footage of random robberies.
Aldean says the criticisms are "dangerous" and the song is about taking care of our neighbors regardless of race or religion.
