(Washington, D.C.) --  The effort continues among North Dakota congressional legislators to restore the hours of operation at northern border ports to pre-pandemic levels.

Senator John Hoeven and Congressman Kelly Armstrong are among leaders introducing legislation in both Chambers to counter the U.S. Customs and Border Protection plan. The plan calls for a reduction in hours at certain ports and keeping the adjusted hours already in place at other ports.

Senator Hoeven says the pandemic is over and it's time to end this saga.
