Hurricane Lee to create dangerous conditions off Florida beaches

(Miami, FL)  -- The most intense Atlantic hurricane so far this season is on a track that would keep it away from Florida, but it could still bring dangerous conditions to the beaches.

Lee is currently a Category 3 storm with sustained winds of 115 miles an hour.  The National Hurricane Center says Lee will whip up waves and create dangerous swells that are likely to generate dangerous surf and rip currents.

Forecasters say those conditions should be expected starting Sunday.
