(Washington, DC) -- World leaders are speaking out in support of Israel.
President Biden, French President Macron, German Chancellor Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Meloni and British Prime Minister Sunak issued a joint statement Monday. The leaders condemned the attacks on Israel by the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
They described what they called "the terrorist actions of Hamas" as having no justification and no legitimacy. The death toll on both sides of the conflict is now over 15-hundred, including eleven Americans.
The White House is being lit blue and white in honor of the Israeli flag.
