(New York, NY) -- New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is joining with prominent Jewish leaders in Manhattan today to call for full military aid for Israel.
Senator Gillibrand, along with New Jersey Congressman Josh Gottheimer, have joined lawmakers on both sides of the aisle vowing their support for Israel.
Republican and Democratic lawmakers have already introduced a bill to provide two billion dollars in aid for Israel's Iron Dome Missile Defense System, which intercepts rockets fired at Israel.
However, Congress can't act until a Speaker of the House is appointed following Kevin McCarthy's expulsion.
