(New York, NY) -- Former President Trump is back in court for his civil fraud trial today.

Trump, his two adult sons and their company are accused of inflating the value of assets in order to obtain more favorable loans. The $250 million civil trial focuses on the former president's annual balance sheets between 2011 and 2021, which the New York Attorney General Letitia James says are inflated by up to $2.2 billion.

Before entering the courtroom, Trump again blasted New York Attorney General calling her a "radical lunatic" and decried the trial as being "rigged." He also argued the trial should have a jury, saying he's never heard of a trial not having one before. The trial's judge has explained that Trump's lawyers did not oppose to James' office suggesting the trial be a non-jury proceeding in the 15-day window they had to respond to the filing.
