Burgum exceeds donor requirement needed to qualify for third GOP Debate

(Bismarck, ND) – Republican Presidential candidate, and North Dakota Governor, Doug Burgum has exceeded the donor requirements needed to qualify for the third GOP Presidential debate.

The Burgum campaign announced earlier this morning that the Republican has received contributions from more than 70,000 individual donors, including more than 200 donors from 20 different states.

Burgum is the fifth candidate to meet the RNC’s requirements.

“Doug Burgum was one of the last candidates to get in the race and is now among the first to reach the donor threshold,” said campaign spokesman Lance Trover. “While he plans to continue defying the odds and be on the debate stage, our campaign knows that ultimately it is the voters in Iowa and New Hampshire who will begin the process of picking the next President, not pundits and national polls.”

The third GOP Debate is scheduled for November 8 at 8 p.m. EST at the Arsht Center in Miami, Fla., and will be hosted by NBC News.
