(Burlington County, NJ) — A lockdown is taking place at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Burlington County in New Jersey.
The air force base tweeted “Lockdown Lockdown Lockdown” shortly after 3 p.m. this afternoon.
It stated there was an active shooter on base and all personnel were to lockdown until further notice.
In addition, authorities said all personnel outside should take cover.
