(Washington, D.C.) -- Congressman Kelly Armstrong has been recommended for a spot on the House Judiciary Committee.
The committee has jurisdiction over all proposed amendments to the Constitution. Armstrong will replace Representative Mike Johnson, who left the committee to become House Speaker. The House Republican Steering Committee made the recommendation on Monday.
Armstrong has served on the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government between 2019 and 2021
