Cramer endorses Donald J. Trump for President of the United States of America

(Washington, DC) – Hours after North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum announced he’s suspending his campaign for President of the United States, one North Dakota United States Senator has now announced his endorsement for the President of the United States.

In an exclusive interview Monday with The Flag’s Scott Hennen, United States Senator Kevin Cramer announced he is endorsing the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, for the 47th Presidency.

“ I just think that you should keep good traditions alive,” Senator Cramer said. “I’m announcing today my support for Donald J. Trump to be the Republican nominee and the next president of the United States.”

In the announcement, Cramer said he was 'honored to support' Burgum in his campaign.

Trump had high praise for the North Dakota Republican Governor.

"He ran a really good race," Trump said. "It's hard to get traction in this group, but he campaigned really well. He is an outstanding person."

He said Burgum could potentially have a spot in a Trump Administration cabinet.

“There are a lot of great positions in that cabinet, bigger than anything that you have in the private sector, in the true sense,” Trump said. “You know, when you look at some of the size of some of the agencies and places that get run in this country and you multiply it out -- they're big and they're important and they have to be well run. I've got a lot of respect for Doug. I always have had a lot of respect for Doug.”
