Hoeven endorses Trump for President

North Dakota Senator John Hoeven has announced he is endorsing Donald J. Trump as the Republican nominee for President of the United States.

"President Trump is strong on the issues that are important for North Dakota," Hoeven said in a Facebook post on Tuesday. "That includes making America energy dominant, reducing the regulatory burden, securing our border, growing our economy and strong support for our military. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with President Trump to support our farmers and he truly understands how vital strong farm policy is to our state and our nation."

The endorsement comes days after North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum suspended his Presidential campaign. Senator Kevin Cramer also announced earlier this week his endorsement of Trump.

Congressman Kelly Armstrong has yet to announce a endorsement for Trump. He had previously endorsed Burgum.
