(Rochester, NY) -- Investigators say the motive behind a deadly New Year's crash in Rochester, New York remains unknown.

The accident involved three vehicles, one of which exploded. First responders found at least a dozen canisters of gasoline in and around the car that exploded, which led to investigators looking into the matter as potential terrorism. Officials said a 35-year-old suspect was killed in the crash and there's no evidence it was part of a larger plot.

Two others were killed and nine were injured in the crash that happened early Monday morning after a concert.
