Biden: Ceasefire is possible in Israel and Palestine, as soon as Monday

(New York, NY)  --  There could soon be a ceasefire in Gaza.  

Speaking to reporters Monday, President Biden said that national security adviser Jake Sullivan tells him that it is close, but "not done yet." He added that his hope is by next Monday, there will be a ceasefire.

Sullivan said Sunday he was hopeful an agreement would take place in the next few days after representatives of Israel, the United States, Egypt and Qatar met in Paris recently.
