(Update: 9:36 a.m. 03/06/2024) -- Republican Nikki Haley has officially suspended her presidential bid to be come the GOP nominee.

The update comes after the former South Carolina governor picked up just one win on Super Tuesday, that being in Vermont.  She delivered remarks from her home state this morning. Her exit sets the stage for a Biden-Trump rematch.

Just days ago, Haley cruised to victory in Washington, DC's primary garnering nearly 63% of the vote, making her the first woman to win a Republican primary in U.S. history. She's already ruled out running alongside Trump as his potential vice president and multiple reports say she will not endorse Trump today.

Haley served as the former president's ambassador to the United Nations from 2017 to 2018.
