(Omaha, NE)  --  Search crews are looking for survivors after a tornado ripped through Nebraska.

Police in Omaha say they were going door-to-door Friday to help people whose houses were "flattened" by a tornado. No serious injuries have been reported so far. In Iowa, four people are being treated for storm-related injuries in Pottawattamie County, where over 100 homes and businesses were damaged by tornadoes.

More dangerous weather is expected today across the central U.S. as well.  Forecasters are predicting severe thunderstorms today from Texas to Michigan, and a heightened risk of tornadoes from north-central Texas to southeastern Iowa.

Flash flooding is possible from sudden heavy rainfall, particularly across eastern Oklahoma.
