(Washington, DC)  --  U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland is pushing back against recent claims made by former President Trump against the Justice Department and FBI.

In a Truth Social post earlier this week, Trump said President Biden's DOJ "authorized the FBI to use deadly force" during the 2022 raid of Mar-a-Lago. On Thursday, Garland said "That allegation is false and extremely dangerous." He went on to say the language in the search warrant is standard policy limiting the use of force.

Garland also pointed out the same statement was used in the search of President Biden's home.
