No caused determined one year after Hawaii fire that killed 102 people

WDAY RADIO — Today marks a year since the Lahaina wildfire on Maui that claimed 102 lives, and no official cause or origin of the fire has been determined.

The Maui Department of Fire and Public Safety has yet to provide a timetable for when it will release its formal report. The public is also awaiting information on the cause and origin of the fire in Upcountry Maui, which also happened last August 8th, destroying 25 homes.

Maui County officials say there will be a news conference when the final report is ready.
