BISMARCK, N.D. – The winning names have been chosen for the North Dakota Department of Transportation’s Name-A-Plow contest.
From November 3-21, the people of North Dakota submitted their most creative ideas, bringing humor and plenty of snow-day spirit to the contest. This is the fifth year the plow naming contest was held.
The winners are:
- Williston: Scoopie Doo
- Fargo: Snowbgone Kenobi
- Devils Lake: Chill Bill
- Dickinson: Teddy Snowsevelt
- Grand Forks: Flurrious George
- Valley City: Ice Krispy
- Bismarck: Beet-L-Juice
- Minot: Betty Whiteout
