UPDATE (8/28 2:50pm): Fargo Police have located and arrested the suspect they were searching for and are no longer asking the public to avoid the area.

WDAY RADIO — Fargo Police say a neighborhood is currently blocked off in an effort to find a suspect.
The Fargo Police Department is blocking off an area surrounding 45th Avenue S and 47th Street South. Authorities say they are searching the area in an effort to find a person who ran from authorities.
Local residents are encouraged to not enter the area at this time. A search is ongoing, with a K9 on the scene.
A police spokesperson says the suspect is not related to the homicide which occurred late last week.
