UNITED STATES – Pro Football Hall of Famer and Vikings great Randy Moss is stepping away from ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown.
It comes as he battles a serious health issue.
ESPN said Moss will be away for an extended period of time and he’s been an invaluable member of their team for almost a decade.
The 47-year-old said earlier this week he’s battling something internal that forces him to wear sunglasses while he’s on air. The legendary wide receiver says he’s optimistic and has “a great team of doctors” and family support.
