State Supreme Court To Hear Civil Suits Over Executive Orders

(Bismarck, ND)  --  The North Dakota Supreme Court is set to hear two civil suits related to executive orders issued by Governor Doug Burgum during the early months of the pandemic.  Minot long-term care facility Somerset Court sued in April after cosmetologist Kari Riggin was prevented from working because of an executive order by the governor.  Riggin has also sued Governor Burgum over the same issue.  The cases will be heard over Zoom on March 8th.
