(Bismarck, ND) -- Officials are looking for a new leader for Job Service North Dakota as well as a new state land commissioner.
State Workforce Safety and Insurance Director Bryan Klipfel has served as interim executive director of Job Service since January 2019 and will be leaving the role December 31st. Governor Burgum announced the search Friday for a new cabinet level Job Service leader.
Land commissioner Jodi Smith announced last week that she is leaving to take a new job. The Board of University and School Lands met Friday to begin the executive search.
