Five new, improved tourist attractions coming to North Dakota

(Bismarck, ND) -- Five new or improved tourism attractions are coming to North Dakota.

The state's Department of Commerce has awarded a million dollars in grant money to the projects. The 2021 Tourism Planning Grant is intended to help developers to create or improve destination projects to attract visitors from outside North Dakota.

Plans are under development for Bison World in Jamestown, The Missouri Riverfront Revitalization Plan, the Center for Exploration in Grand Forks, and the International Peace Garden. The Medora comprehensive plan received $150,000 to add and expand attractions on site.
