(Bismarck, ND) -- A 54-year-old woman is charged with felony theft after allegedly stealing 222-thousand dollars from the Bismarck law firm where she worked.
Barbara Norman worked at Larson Latham Heuttl Law Firm from December 2014 to January 2020, when she resigned. Norman's replacement audited the firm's books and allegedly found extra payroll payments of nearly 18-thousand dollars, along with 94-thousand from the firm's account going to pay personal credit card bills and 43-thousand in unauthorized company credit card charges.
Norman has denied taking any firm money for personal use.
